We are looking for someone based in Scotland to join this specialised supplier of precision electronic components to develop and drive product sales growth within Scandinavia. Recognised for delivering high-quality solutions this company offers a diverse portfolio that includes resistors, capacitors, inductors, sensors, connectors, and optoelectronic components. Their focus is on providing cutting-edge technologies, exceptional reliability, and tailored support to customers, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- To efficiently manage the growth of sales within the territory.
- Maintain sales visits and calls in an efficient and profitable way.
- Service certain existing and new accounts to expand the range of products sold.
- Generate new accounts by identifying and encouraging future business prospects and opportunities with regular market research.
- Maintain a balanced portfolio of accounts with long term, medium and short term prospects.
- Attend exhibitions when required.
- Maintain a professional company image.
- Organise territory effectively.
- Maintain the CRM database with each customer’s current events, including producing visit reports and RFQ’s to keep the record current.
- Maintain a technical competence on products.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors products.
- Optimise ratio of sales to non-sales activities (back office).
- Endeavour to exceed targets set.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the electronic component industry
- Proven sales experience in the electronic component industry
- Travel
