We are seeking a talented and motivated Internal Marketing Professional to spearhead the creation and leadership of their new marketing department in Hertfordshire. This role will involve crafting and executing dynamic social media marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and values. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in digital marketing, exceptional strategic thinking, and a creative approach to engaging audiences across various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Department Establishment:
    • Develop and implement a strategic plan to establish a new marketing department from the ground up.
    • Define the marketing department’s goals, structure, and processes to ensure effective operation and alignment with company objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior management to secure resources, budget, and support for the department.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Create, implement, and manage social media marketing campaigns across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Develop a content calendar and ensure consistent, on-brand messaging that engages and grows our audience.
    • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on ROI.
  • Content Creation:
    • Generate compelling and innovative content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and other multimedia materials.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality content that supports our marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Strategy:
    • Develop and maintain a strong brand voice and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
    • Ensure all marketing efforts are consistent with the company’s brand guidelines and values.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with other departments to align marketing strategies with overall company goals.
    • Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and senior management, providing regular updates and insights.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management.
  • Proven ability to establish and lead a marketing strategies & campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
