We are recruiting for a commercially focused Key Account Manager (Iberia) to take ownership of strategic customer relationships across Spain and Portugal. The business is a well-established global manufacturer within the electronic components sector, known for its engineering quality, long-term customer partnerships, and strong investment in product development and manufacturing capability. This role is centred on developing and expanding key accounts, driving sustainable revenue growth, and strengthening market presence across the Iberian region. It will suit someone who combines strong commercial awareness with technical understanding and is comfortable operating autonomously while collaborating closely with internal teams and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and drive sales of the full product portfolio across the assigned region
  • Act as the primary commercial and technical point of contact for customers
  • Proactively identify, research, and develop new customer opportunities through regular business development activity
  • Manage, support, and optimise the distributor network to maximise market coverage and performance
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports, including sales forecasts and active project pipelines
  • Develop and execute annual budgets and regional action plans in line with business objectives
  • Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to strengthen brand presence and relationships

Requirements

  • Ideally Masters Degree in electrical engineering, switchgear technology or mechatronics
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish with strong negotiation skills; additional languages advantageous
  • Proven sales experience within electromechanical components and distributor-led environments
  • Strong commercial, technical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experienced with MS Office, SAP, and working effectively in a remote/home-based role
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-focused with a results-driven mindset
  • Well organised, resilient under pressure, and able to prioritise effectively
  • Comfortable working in an international environment, setting and achieving targets, and contributing positively as a team player
