Reporting to the Director of Sales for the DACH region, you will collaborate closely with the Internal Sales and Technical Sales teams to implement the company’s overall business strategy. The role involves developing and executing sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, expand market share, and establish the company as a strategic supplier to key customers in the region.
Ideally, this role will be based within 100 km of Munich.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages customer engagements within the designated region, collaborating with the Technical & Product Solutions Manager and Internal Sales Representatives to introduce products and expand the customer portfolio in alignment with the established business development plan.
- Identifies target customers, fosters relationships, and develops strategies that leverage all available resources to grow the account base in the specified region.
- Responsible for generating leads, qualifying business opportunities, and delivering impactful business presentations.
- Accountable for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue within the region.
- Ensures that the CRM system is utilized and updated daily.
- Maintains effective communication and service for the customer base while efficiently navigating internal processes to prioritize active business opportunities.
- Travel within the assigned region is expected to be a minimum of 50% of time.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in electronics-related fields is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, and management within the electronic component or semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing a large territory while operating from a virtual office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Strong relationship-building skills, enabling effective navigation and management of business partners and suppliers.
- Established experience in cultivating relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including successfully closing complex deals with customers and partners.
- Flexibility and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and managing them effectively.
- Skilled in problem-solving, with the capability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity with minimal supervision.
- Passionate about business and committed to going the extra mile.
- Positive attitude with a quick learning ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with intermediate to advanced skills required.

- Must hold a full current driving license
- Must be able and willing to travel (50 to 60% of travel)
