Be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of electronics. You will report to the Business Development Manager and collaborate closely with a select group of Key Suppliers. The primary objective of this role is to expand the design pipeline for the System Solutions Group. This will be accomplished by driving new customer acquisition, enhancing engagement with existing customers, and strengthening customer relationships in partnership with the sales team. A central focus of the role will be promoting our Value-Added Services, moving beyond the sale of standard catalogue items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Expertise: Focus on Cellular Routers, Industrial Routers, LoRa Gateways, Serial-over-Ethernet, and USB-over-IP solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of 4G/5G networks, LoRa networks, and IT systems for data centers.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with Field Sales and Internal Sales teams to drive customer engagement.
  • Customer Development: Identify and develop new design opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Engineering and Product Manager teams in the field to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Lead Management: Manage sample distribution and follow up on leads effectively.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and developments across product lines.
  • Supplier Interaction: Engage directly with selected suppliers regularly to strengthen partnerships.
  • Presentations and Training: Assist in preparing and delivering customer seminars and supplier review meetings.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain and nurture relationships with customers to support ongoing pipeline growth and ensure business continuity, in collaboration with the Sales Team.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Self-Management: Skilled in managing personal schedules, appointment bookings, and maintaining an organised diary.
  • Client Engagement: Experienced in conducting face-to-face customer meetings with a focus on building relationships.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of computing, display technologies, and connectivity principles.
  • Business Development: Demonstrated success in securing new business and developing winning strategies.
