Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Business Expansion
- Drive sales growth within the assigned territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across key industries, including medical and industrial sectors.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the company, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution of concerns to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of new projects, aligning deliverables with customer expectations and deadlines.
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Conduct regular in-person meetings with clients to nurture relationships, gather insights, and reinforce the company’s reputation as a trusted industry partner.
Sales Opportunity Development
- Identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities by analysing market trends, customer demands, and competitor strategies to introduce innovative solutions.
Performance Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports, including performance analysis, budget tracking, and forecasts, while providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
Professionalism & Brand Representation
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company with excellence in all interactions, reinforcing its position as a premier provider of electronic solutions.
Strategic Sales Planning
- Develop and implement structured sales strategies to optimise resources, maximise market opportunities, and align with corporate objectives.
CRM Data Management
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date entry of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system for effective account management and performance tracking.
Industry Events & Networking
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences, actively networking to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work in partnership with the marketing team to align campaigns, promotional efforts, and sales initiatives within the designated market.
Additional Contributions
- Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as required to support the success of business development efforts.
Requirements
- Professional sales training with years experience in field sales and business development. Preferably in a similar role.
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of the industrial and medical industries.
- Proven track record in identifying opportunities, generating sales, and cross-selling.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Experienced in client-facing roles with strong persuasion abilities.
- Confident in cold calling and self-generating leads.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Valid and Clean driving license.
- Ability to work from home.
- Flexible around working hours worked with travel.
