We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join this UK-based leader in industrial connectivity. You will be focusing on expanding their presence across the Southern UK region, covering the Midlands downwards. This is a customer-facing, field-based role suited to individuals with a strong sales background in the connector or industrial wholesale sectors to provide high-performance electrical connection solutions designed to thrive in the most demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across the Southern territory
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers including OEM clients, industrial distributors, and wholesalers
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify opportunities to grow market share within the industrial sector
- Represent the company at customer sites, trade events, and industry meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity and client interactions
Requirements
- Background in industrial wholesale
- Proven success in business development roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage a large and varied territory
- Ability to work independently while supporting wider team goals
- Comfortable with travel across a broad Southern UK region
