Join this leading global manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components, providing tailored solutions for high-performance electronics. This company is renowned for innovation, quality, and reliability. With a comprehensive portfolio that includes passive components, EMC solutions, power modules, and connectivity systems.
They are looking for a dynamic person to achieve high-growth sales with both existing and potential customers within a special geographic territory. You will be responsible for driving business development and market presence for a diverse portfolio of electromechanical products, including switches, high- and low-current connectors, I/O components, and assembly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profitability within the assigned territory by expanding active project pipelines across diverse customers and key decision-makers.
- Foster strong customer engagement through regular interactions, including in-person meetings.
- Oversee projects from initial design concepts through to full product lifecycle management.
- Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate territory progress and business growth.
- Provide customised account management to address customer needs and build lasting partnerships.
- Formulate go-to-market strategies by identifying and analysing high-potential prospects.
- Re-establish connections with dormant accounts to unlock new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in electronics or an engineering-related field.
- 2–3 years of demonstrated sales success within a related product, service, engineering, or OEM environment.
- Strong intellectual aptitude, combined with a commitment to professional growth, natural curiosity, and sharp analytical abilities.
- Proven experience in a design-focused sales environment, collaborating closely with design, procurement, and engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of project management, with the ability to support customers through extended sales cycles ranging from 6 months to 10 years.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, high energy, and a results-driven approach to performance.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional international assignments.
- Full, valid UK driving license.
