Join this fast-growing independent distributor of electronic components. This organisation delivers value-added sourcing and supply chain solutions to customers worldwide. With strong supplier partnerships and expertise in global procurement, inventory management, and excess/obsolete component markets, the company is known for its agility, transparency, and commitment to service excellence. Supporting a wide customer base of OEMs, EMS/CEMs, and distribution partners, it provides tailored solutions that keep production lines running efficiently and competitively.

They are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Account Executive to join their global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding strategic customer relationships across their assigned region (EMEA or Americas), managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to closing. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional to drive new business growth, deliver exceptional customer value, and represent a trusted name in the global electronic components market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a portfolio of OEM, EMS/CEM, and distributor customers within your region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue growth through consultative selling of electronic components and value-added services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms, ensuring margin objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with sourcing, operations, and logistics teams to deliver efficient, competitive solutions.
  • Monitor market trends (e.g. shortages, excess inventory, new technologies) and use insights to advise customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date product, supplier and competitive knowledge within the electronic components sector.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in B2B electronics component sales—ideally within independent distribution, brokerage or value-added distributor setting.
  • Strong understanding of supply-chain challenges (shortages, excess stock, global sourcing) and services that differentiate distributors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills with a proactive, sales-driven mindset.
  • Comfortable working remotely across time zones and collaborating with international teams.
  • Fluent English; additional language skills beneficial.
