They are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business, building lasting customer relationships, and driving sales growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition – Identify and engage new customers within the electronics manufacturing and product design sectors.
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Solution Selling – Understand customer needs and deliver tailored component sourcing solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Ownership – Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through to negotiation and successful deal closure.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Insight – Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Representation – Represent the business at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Strategic Contribution – Contribute to wider business strategy and growth planning in collaboration with the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience – Proven track record in B2B sales within the electronics industry, ideally in component supply, distribution, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge – Strong understanding of the requirements of manufacturers and product designers.
  • Communication & Influence – Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset – Highly motivated, proactive, and confident working independently.
  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to take a broader, long-term view of business development opportunities and challenges.
  • Growth Environment – Experience working in a fast-growing company or start-up environment is advantageous.
