This leading specialist in electronic component distribution and supply chain solutions is seeking an Account Manager to develop and manage key customer relationships across Hungary. This company provides sourcing, procurement, and shortage-management services to support manufacturers and OEMs, with a strong focus on quality assurance, inventory management, and reliable delivery for industries such as industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, and consumer electronics. The role combines account management with new business development, requiring a consultative sales approach, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. They offer the opportunity to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and represent the business at industry events while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure high standards of compliance, traceability, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts in Hungary, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop leads, and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs, market trends, and supply chain challenges to provide tailored solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, quality, and operations) to deliver reliable and compliant service.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in line with company policies and profitability goals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and market share growth in the region.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums across the region.
- Maintain accurate records of client activity and pipeline development using the company’s CRM system
Requirements
- 3 years of proven experience in sales or account management within electronic components, distribution, or related technology sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel frequently across the region.
- Business-fluent Hungarian and English (both written and spoken).
- A consultative, solution-driven sales mindset with strong commercial acumen.
