We are pleased to announce an opportunity to work with this global electronic components distributor. This organisation specialises in providing innovative sourcing and supply chain solutions to manufacturers worldwide. Known for their agility, reliability, and deep market expertise, the company partners with leading OEMs and CEMs to ensure uninterrupted production and strategic component availability.

They are now seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Executive to join their high-performing team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth across an assigned region, leveraging strong industry knowledge, customer relationships, and negotiation skills to deliver tailored sourcing solutions that meet complex production needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused professional to make a real impact within a global business that values initiative, partnership, and performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand key customer accounts across global markets, including OEM, EMS, CEM, and distribution partners.
  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach, lead generation, and market intelligence.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms to maximise profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams across sourcing, operations, and logistics to deliver seamless end-to-end component supply solutions.
  • Stay informed on market trends and product developments within semiconductors, passives, electromechanical, and memory components to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B electronic component sales, ideally within an independent distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of shortage-driven, excess, and global open-market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented mindset, capable of driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are highly advantageous, especially Mandarin, Spanish, or German).
