Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales revenue and new business to meet agreed targets.
- Grow and manage existing customer accounts while identifying new opportunities.
- Act as primary customer contact, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
- Support new product introductions from concept through to production.
- Conduct regular customer visits to build relationships and represent the company.
- Generate and pursue new sales leads across the product portfolio.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Maintain professional standards and presentation at all times.
- Plan and prioritise activities to maximise opportunities within the territory.
- Update CRM systems with accurate customer and sales data.
- Support exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the team and business goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales and account management (5 years).
- Strong knowledge of industrial and OEM customers across the Southwest UK.
- Strong knowledge of medical device manufacturers across the Southwest UK.
- Solid technical and commercial understanding to support customer design projects.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and professional with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to cold call and self-generate new leads.
- Experienced in client-facing situations with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and CRM systems.
- Able to travel regularly across the Southwest and work from home or office as required.
- Positive, energetic personality with a passion for high-quality electronic products.
