An exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive growth within the electronic components market, working across multiple industries, customers, and territories. You will be joining an established independent distributor with a strong reputation in the semiconductor and microelectronics space, known for their ability to source hard-to-find, obsolete, and allocated components while delivering reliable supply chain solutions to customers worldwide.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-led environment and is motivated by winning new business and building long-term customer relationships. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle—prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities—while developing and expanding an existing network within the industry.

Based in Tampa, Florida, this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week. In return, you’ll benefit from a highly rewarding package, including a competitive base salary and an uncapped commission structure, offering genuine unlimited earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop relationships with buyers and key decision-makers across OEM, CEM, and EMS customers, maintaining and growing an active client base.
  • Drive new business through high levels of prospecting, cold calling, and outbound activity, utilising tools such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to identify, develop, and qualify opportunities.
  • Work towards and exceed agreed targets, budgets, and performance objectives.
  • Manage incoming enquiries and the full quotation process, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requirements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end order process, including coordination of customer transactions, order management, and ongoing customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM systems, including quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of 4+ years within franchised or independent electronic components distribution is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong computer literacy and data entry accuracy, with experience using CRM systems and ideally familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central.
  • A consistent history of exceeding sales targets and delivering against quota.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
  • Able to make proactive decisions, resolve customer-related issues effectively, and work independently with a high level of accountability.
