Based in Brea, California, this role offers the chance to be a key part of a quality-driven team, with real responsibility and visibility across the business. You will take ownership of inspecting electronic components to ensure authenticity, quality, and compliance with strict industry standards. Working closely with purchasing, sales, and operations, you will play a vital role in protecting the integrity of the supply chain and supporting customers who depend on accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of electronic components in line with industry standards (AS6081, IDEA, etc.)
- Identify counterfeit, damaged or non-conforming components
- Carry out detailed inspection processes including marking, packaging, lead condition and documentation review
- Support advanced testing processes where required (X-ray, decapsulation, electrical testing via third parties)
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure quality standards are met across all orders
- Assist with supplier quality evaluation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience inspecting electronic components within distribution, manufacturing or testing environments
- Strong understanding of counterfeit detection and industry standards (AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010 preferred)
- Experience working with independent distributors or high-reliability supply chains is highly beneficial
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
