An exciting opportunity has arisen for a QHSE Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected organisation operating within the Electronic Component Industry. This role will play a key part in maintaining and developing Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, supporting compliance with industry standards including ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001 and ISO45001, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple UK locations. You’ll be responsible for driving quality standards, managing audits, supporting supplier and customer compliance activities, investigating non-conformances, and helping shape a culture where operational excellence is embedded throughout the business. Key Responsibilities
- Previous experience in Electronic Components, Electronics Manufacturing (EMS/CEM).
- Strong knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems and experience working within ISO-regulated environments.
- Ability to conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier and external certification audits.
- Knowledge of supplier quality management, vendor approvals and customer compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce quality reports, KPI metrics and compliance documentation.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of quality management systems and auditing.
- Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualifications would be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
