The company is building the next generation of independent distribution through its AI-powered purchasing platform, helping global electronics manufacturers reduce costs, overcome supply-chain challenges, and make faster, smarter purchasing decisions.
As Senior Sourcing Specialist, you’ll sit at the heart of the global sourcing operation. You’ll be responsible for sourcing electronic components, negotiating with suppliers, managing RFQs and PPV opportunities, developing relationships with authorised distributors and independent suppliers, and expanding the supplier network across Europe and the Americas.
This isn’t a traditional purchasing role. You’ll combine your existing knowledge of the electronic components market with technology, data and AI, while working closely with the product team to help shape how the procurement platform develops.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day sourcing and procurement activities across the electronic components market.
- Manage the full purchasing cycle, from initial sourcing and supplier negotiation through to quality assurance and on-time delivery.
- Develop and expand the company’s supplier and procurement network across Europe and the Americas.
- Analyse customer requirements and source electronic components against daily enquiries and RFQs.
- Negotiate pricing, availability, lead times and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with authorised distributors, manufacturers and independent suppliers.
- Identify, engage and qualify new suppliers to continuously strengthen the global supplier network.
- Support and deliver PPV (Purchase Price Variance) and cost-reduction projects for customers.
- Monitor component availability, pricing, market conditions and wider industry trends to identify purchasing opportunities.
- Work closely with the product and technology teams to help improve the company’s AI-powered procurement platform, sourcing processes and workflows.
- Maintain a strong understanding of supplier capabilities, market pricing and global component availability to support fast and commercially competitive sourcing decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in electronic component sourcing, purchasing or procurement, ideally within an international environment.
- Previous experience within an independent distributor or broker would be a significant advantage.
- A strong understanding of electronic component sourcing, supplier management, pricing and negotiation.
- Experience working with international suppliers and negotiating across different markets and cultures.
- A proven ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver against commercial objectives.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, alongside an interest in using technology and AI to improve sourcing and procurement.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- A collaborative, service-focused approach and the ability to work effectively across different departments.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt as the business and technology continue to develop.
