  • Lead, manage and support a small team, promoting accountability, operational efficiency and consistently high performance standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the Colmworth site, ensuring activities are managed effectively and business objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with wider Group departments and senior management to ensure alignment with company strategy and operational requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across customer management, internal processes and team performance.
  • Take ownership of key commercial and operational decisions, demonstrating sound judgement, professionalism and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within the electronics industry, ideally gained in electronic component distribution, electronics manufacturing or a related technical environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of electronic components, products and applications, with the ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in a senior commercial, key account management or customer-facing leadership position.
  • A successful track record of managing and developing strategic customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and commercial growth.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, strong business acumen and the confidence to manage complex commercial discussions.
  • Previous experience leading and developing a small team, maintaining high performance standards and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to make informed decisions, challenge constructively and take full ownership of responsibilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to resolve challenges and manage competing business priorities.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to ensure commitments are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders.
