We’re looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in technical sales, ideally within the contract electronics manufacturing sector. The right person will be a motivated self-starter with the enthusiasm to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Business Development function and lead in shaping a sustainable sales strategy.
- Ensure achievement of established growth targets.
- Create a detailed customer profile for prospective clients, identifying key criteria (e.g., customer size, potential spend, technology fit, project type, industry sector) to compile a targeted prospect list.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through integrated communication techniques.
- Lead RFQ processes, conducting contract reviews to ensure alignment with technical and commercial criteria; coordinate internal resources for cost estimates, and manage quote preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Sales and management, including market and competitor analysis, visit reports, and sales forecasting.
- Help develop a sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and growth targets.
- Identify and convert new prospects in line with the strategy.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to optimize strategies for key existing customers, enhancing relationships and business potential.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the contract electronics manufacturing (CEM) industry.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proactive and customer-focused, with a practical approach to work.
- Skilled at assessing customer needs, identifying upsell opportunities, and selecting appropriate solutions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, managing time and resources efficiently.
- Strong customer-facing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels within the company and with customer organizations.
