Key Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
- Work to penetrate the key influencers & decision makers in customers & prospects within the allocated region.
- To work with the key strategic identified markets’ engineering and procurement communities in the UK for the promotion of the company as a strategic developer & supplier of Electrical, Electronic harnesses & auxiliary products/services.
- The management & development of the Key strategic customer accounts: OEM, EMS & Distribution, all of which are currently producing or supplying products to identified key customers.
- To assist in the definition and implementation of business strategy in accordance with global corporate goals.
- To liaise with the company and its customer’s global network to deliver product and service solutions to existing & potential customers.
Key Responsabilities and Accountabilities:
- Support existing accounts in conjunction with internal sales and product management.
- To meet agreed strategic targets.
- To carry out agreed periodic reporting, that covers financial, business development, account review, competitor activities, NPI, marketing and forecasting.
- To work with Design, Quotes & Production teams on new products/design for manufacture solution development.
- To provide relevant market intelligence on future programmes, technology development and competitor activity.
- To identify & develop new business within key identified markets in line with the business strategy.
- Support existing account product development in conjunction with the product and engineering management teams.
- To deliver engineered solutions to the identified key markets customers’ engineering and development communities.
- Communication with the Group & its principles sales, engineering & product management teams globally when required.
- Observe and comply with policies & procedures, and procedures for Health & Safety.
- Any other duties as reasonably required by your Line Manager.
Requirements
Practical Requirements:
- Full Clean Driving License.
- Ability to work in the UK.
- Ability to travel the UK (some international travel may also be necessary).
Requirements:
- Prior sales experience with a proven track record.
- Prior experience within the Electronic Component Industry.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate: Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
- Negotiation skills.
