This field-based role requires an individual with security clearance to create, develop, and engage new customers, programs, and business opportunities across the entire UK, including Scotland and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new customers and programs beyond the current client base, in line with the company’s sales strategy.
  • Drive revenue growth by fostering strong client relationships and enhancing market presence.
  • Implement sales strategies and tactics within the existing client base to boost market share.
  • Generate demand for all divisions’ capabilities and products across the UK North, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with major international companies.
  • Retain and expand market share across Europe.
  • Manage and grow channel partners by executing tailored geographic strategies.
  • Attend and present at sales meetings as required.
  • Organize and oversee customer visits to company facilities.
  • Collaborate with relevant personnel to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Travel to business facilities and customers across the UK and Europe as needed.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

  • Achieve sales targets for bookings and billings in line with the budget.
  • Secure design wins to drive organic business growth.
  • Develop and onboard new customers.
  • Conduct a minimum of eight prospect or client visits per month.
  • Submit the required weekly report by Friday each week.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience in selling or developing business in Aerospace, Defence, or Space markets – with full security clearance.
  • Familiarity with complex electronic systems, such as hybrid technology and DC-DC power supplies, is a strong advantage.
  • Background in electronics, particularly in high-reliability markets.
  • Willingness to travel to Northern Europe, with occasional trips to other regions, including the US.
  • Preferred residence in mainland Europe, though UK-based candidates will be considered.
  • Understanding of quality systems and procedures used in the electronics industry, such as AS9100.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electronics or equivalent experience within the electronics industry.
  • Extensive sales experience in selling both products and services.
  • Significant experience in a similar role or environment.
