Elevate your career as a Key Account Manager with a leading global relay industry pioneer offering a competitive base salary of £70,000, bonus potential, and a company car based in Paris. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead sales and technical interactions with customers across Europe.

You will drive business growth by prospecting new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering insightful monthly reports. Your role includes active participation in industry events and exhibitions, with regular travel across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the product range.
  • Serve as the sales and technical liaison with customers.
  • Actively and regularly prospect for new customers and conduct research.
  • Follow up on and optimize the distribution network.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including forecasts and project lists.
  • Develop and implement yearly budgets and action plans.
  • Participate in events and exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Professional Education in Sales or Program Management
  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, switchgear technology or mechatronics would be advantagous
  • Professional approach to sales and technical matters – 3 years work experience.
  • Experience in selling electromechanical components such as relays, terminal blocks, connectors, contactors, miniature circuit breakers, or passive components.
  • Skilled in managing distribution networks.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
  • Ability to travel in Europe
  • Proactive, reliable, determined, and enthusiastic.
  • Self-motivated, open-minded, and empathetic.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Rational, with effective prioritization skills.
  • Stress-resistant, well-organized, and results-driven.
  • Able to work effectively in an international environment.
