This company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join the team. This role is crucial in ensuring that products and services consistently meet the highest quality standards, customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, conducting audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing the quality aspects of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the quality assurance processes throughout the product
manufacture.
• Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry
standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant certifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and inspection
plans.
• Perform and oversee First Article Inspection Reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and
supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis on non-conformances and lead continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Ensure that all customer requirements are met through robust quality checks,
documentation, and testing procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality standards are upheld and that corrective
actions are implemented when necessary.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably within the defence,
aerospace, or industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative
approach.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
