Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the quality assurance processes throughout the product
manufacture.
• Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry
standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant certifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and inspection
plans.
• Perform and oversee First Article Inspection Reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and
supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis on non-conformances and lead continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Ensure that all customer requirements are met through robust quality checks,
documentation, and testing procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality standards are upheld and that corrective
actions are implemented when necessary.
Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably within the defence,
aerospace, or industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative
approach.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
