Join one of Europe’s premier manufacturers of passive components based in Somerset. This company is a leader in the frequency control market with an active internal customer base offering a diverse range of frequency control solutions. Their product lineup includes cost-effective commercial-grade quartz crystals, oscillators, and high-performance variants, as well as components designed for high-reliability industrial and automotive applications.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to report to the Quality Manager and contribute to the mission of delivering world-class quality to customers. As part of our innovative QA team, you will play a key role in enhancing our products and services and elevating the importance of Quality within our organization.

Hybrid: Max 2 days per week homeworking

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
  • Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Return Material Authorization (RMA) cases
  • Preparing and delivering customer reports
  • Compiling and managing Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for suppliers
  • Managing the Approved Vendors List (AVL)
  • Upholding our commitment to Continuous Improvement
  • Assisting the Quality Manager with various tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Addressing and discussing audit issues and proposed solutions with superiors
  • Possessing QA experience within a manufacturing environment (SQE, QE, or similar roles)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to update procedures and work instructions via ECC
  • Team-oriented problem-solving skills (8D training provided)
  • Capability to work independently on internal projects
  • Background in automotive or aerospace industries
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills
