An established global leader in semiconductor and electronic component solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across Northeast Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing strategic customer relationships, winning new business, and managing a diverse portfolio of OEM and industrial accounts.

Working closely with dedicated Technical Sales and Inside Sales teams, you will take ownership of your territory, identifying new opportunities, expanding existing customer partnerships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. This role combines strategic account management with proactive business development, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment and has a strong understanding of the electronic components market.

This is a home-based, customer-facing position offering the autonomy to manage your own territory while being supported by a globally recognised organisation with an excellent reputation for technical expertise, product innovation, and long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts across Northeast Germany while identifying opportunities for long-term business expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Sales and Inside Sales colleagues to deliver regional sales objectives and maximise customer success.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and win new OEM and industrial customers within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Create, qualify, and progress new sales opportunities through a consultative sales approach, delivering compelling customer presentations where required.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, reliable forecasts, and structured territory plans to support predictable business growth.
  • Keep CRM records up to date, ensuring customer information, opportunities, and activities are accurately documented.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide the highest level of support for customer projects, quotations, and ongoing opportunities.
  • Travel regularly throughout Northeast Germany (approximately 50–60%) to develop customer relationships and support business growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Regional Sales, Account Management, or Technical Sales within the semiconductor or electronic components industry.
  • A proven history of delivering territory growth, increasing revenue, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Confident in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across engineering, procurement, operations, and senior leadership teams.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with proven negotiation and customer relationship management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, from opportunity generation through to successful closure.
  • A degree in Electronics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering results.
  • Highly organised with excellent territory planning and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and solve customer challenges.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving market.
  • Competent user of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across multiple departments to achieve shared business objectives.
